That is why I appreciate the initiative and commitment that Emil Open has been doing for the 7th year of this international sporting event.
European Youth Games for the Disabled are annually returning to the South Moravian Region and its metropolis, Brno. Disabled athletes, their will and enthusiasm are a huge inspiration for us all.
The city has been involved in supporting the European Youth Games for the Disabled already last year and I am glad that organizers have received subsidy of 1 million Czech crowns this year as well.
For the City Council of Brno-střed district it is already pleasant tradition to unanimously approve help for the international games for the disabled youth EMIL OPEN.
The city council of Brno-Centre approved a 100% discount on the rent of an indoor pool under the management of the Kraví hora Sport and Recreation Complex on 8 – 9 June 2017 for participants of the 6th European Youth Games for the Disabled EMIL OPEN.
